Finally got a new one...

Samick Sage Takedown Recurve bow. It has a 50# draw weight and weighs about 3 pounds. I've shot it a few times and I'm pleased with the accuracy. I tore off that arrow rest because it sucked and I put on a Bear silent strip. Only have target points right now but I intend to get some broadheads or something similar in the near future.

Nice deal! I gave all of my archery stuff to my niece and her fiance a while back. Wish I had a place to use and practice with it, would have probably kept it. That bow however makes me want one like it now!

There's an archery range here on base, plus I have buddies who have houses, and I can make targets out of sand bags or hay bales.

I used to use boxes filled with soft foam from work. They worked great for it, we used to attach posters and pictures to them for targets.
