Whats your preference?
For boots I still like Wolverine originals. Very comfortable.
For socks I wear nothing but ThorLo brand products.

I'll just wear my old combat boots and UnderArmor boot socks.

Absolutely. I love them. It's been almost ten years and they're still in good shape.

Been wearing a pair of Browning hunting boots with Gore Tex and Thinsulate for about the last 7yrs. Not too hot in the summer and not too cold in the winter. For an inexpensive, (relatively anyway), pair of boots they've held up extremely well. When it's time to finally move on to another pair, being a Portland boy, I'll probably have to go with Danner, they're just so dang spendy...

I'm a huge fan of Keen. They can't be beat. I can walk all day in them, and they last forever. They make hiking boots (summer and winter) as well as snow boots.

I live in my Keen Newports.
Wear them almost every day when I'm not at work.
Next Hiking boots I buy will be the Pacific Crest boots, by Keen.
Yet another awesome Portland based company.
