Tony Lama or Ariat all the way for boots. They're tough, last forever and they're comfy.
And on the 8th day, God looked down on his planned paradise, and said "I need a caretaker."
So God made a farmer.

I have an old pair of Salamander hiking boots that are still in damned good shape after almost thirty years. They still have the original laces in them. I put more miles on those boots than I care to recall, hiking all over Europe and the US.

I couldn't tell you. but they're leather, they're comfortable, and from what I can tell durable.

I still have some Danners, in the DCU sand color, that have held up very well and are comfortable. I think I would take those and another pair of shoes, converse, PT shoes, or whatever to wear when not rucking around, though.

Probably my Docs or my Danner RAT boots. They're good boots and have sentimental value to me. I roll with underarmour, Fox river or Smartwool socks.
He who wears the cloth, will always wear the cloth, and those that wear the cloth will always have a brother in me.
