Let us know what you think of the Maxpedition when you get it.
I have considered one a couple of times.

Will do. It should be here by the 3rd or 4th.
And on the 8th day, God looked down on his planned paradise, and said "I need a caretaker."
So God made a farmer.

Are you talking about the Versipack? I've used the Remora Gearslinger. Loved it.

Nope. I'm talking about a little pouch that fits on your belt or in a cargo pocket.

At my last 3-gun match, the forend of my Saiga12 just fell off.
Ordered a Tapco forend last week and it should get here tomorrow.
Typically I call Tapco, "Crapco".

I was impressed with their Mini-14 mags so I have high hopes for the Saiga part.

Just another step towards 922r compliance.

Pics to follow.

Guess what came in the mail today! My little Maxpedition EDC pouch. I'll get an in-depth review up as soon as I've had a chance to get some use out of it.

Most primary care providers will prescribe antibiotics/painkillers/antifungals/antidiarrheals to those going on extended trips to remote areas. Like those that own a boat, or go on backpacking trips, or hunting expeditions etc. Prescribing for long trips is a commonly accepted practice. If you are a little more diligent, you can also look into alternatives that don't require a prescription, like fish antibiotics. Not all are created equal, but some are produced to USP specs in the same plants that make abx for humans, and just get packaged in different containers. They cover a pretty broad spectrum of bacteria and fungi, with penicillins, tetracyclines, beta lactams, flouroquinolones, cephalosporins and more represented. Careful with abx though, giving them inappropriately in a SHTF scenario could have some pretty devastating consequences, like C. dif for example.

I was having some issues with my .300's action. I was scratching my head trying to figure out what was wrong. with a cartridge loaded, I was having bolt lift issues. I then remembered that I may made a bone head error and may have overtightened my forward scope mount. I backed it off and retorqued it. Took it to the range today. She runs like a champ now. silky smooth action :D!

A rifle that works properly is a wonderful thing.
Glad you got it resolved.
What color locktite did you use?
I generally use blue on scope mounts and other gun parts.
