I have a crank radio but it in my main pack, not the car.
Nobody has mentioned any car repair or maintainence gear. One of the first things I bought after the Jeep was a tire plug kit and a CO2 inflation bottle.

My vehicle is poorly equipped. I have a blanket, small pillows, first aid kit (bandages, gloves, hemostat, scissors, mouth-to-mouth protector, and a cold pack), flashlight, screwdriver, pocketknife, and binoculars. I also have napkins, plastic ware and straws. My cell phone lives in my car along with a pair of leather gloves and a hoodie. I am not sure what I am better prepared for...cold weather, a nap, eating in the car, or an emergency.

One thing I want to add is a cold weather emergency kit--empty coffee can (metal), rubbing alcohol, a roll of toilet paper, a lighter and a candy bar. Although this is not really needed in NC, it is a must for colder weather states such as Michigan.

I'm working on getting a new Toyota Tacoma 4WD truck. When it's in the driveway I'll be able to equip it nicely.

I listed "small comm radio" because it's a junk yard build by a group member. I don't know it's parts but it does have a hand crank system. Each of us have a hand held node thats programmed back to the hub. Each vehicle has a space designated for another node radio and each group member has a node somewhere in their house. I'm bugging in and the rest of the group is bugging out to me so my house holds the hub radio. If my house falls then the group swaps their hub designator and keeps moving north.

I have a packet of wet naps, roll of paper towels, small toolkit, axe with paracord wrapped handle, flashlight, a dedicated car pistol, a small first aid kit. I want to add some emergency blankets, water bottles, and radio.

Most of you probably already know I keep a tire plug kit in my ride (always have after being stranded in the cold with a flat spare tire). I forgot to mention it but I finally had the opportunity to use it my last visit to Nevada on my cousin's SUV back in December. Still going strong!
It's better than a patch on the inside......

Well my trunk is pretty full, plus the cash and the 629 are not normally in the car.
