Beefed up to Bug Out

If cost is no object, and the only restriction is that it has to be designed and sold as a civilian passenger vehicle with no military equipment involved, what does your perfect, ideal Bug-Out vehicle look like?
Never hit first. Always hit back.

The only thing worse than a zombie trying to eat you, is a zombie trying to eat you while it is on fire.

Now why you need a pick up and not a SUV.

In the back there is

A ruber matras(may come in handy)
Tool box
First aid kit.(Lots of anti infecstions)
Solar charger for radios, portbal dvd player, laptop extra
Bar fridge
Gas cooker
A smaller heater
A fan
Genset
Small work shop
Srorage rack

A Jeep will do just fine. You can add a top rack or mount one on the trailer hitch.
Not every pickup is equipped with all the extras you mentioned.

Most are not.

A lot of pickups are not even proper off roaders.

A diesel ford Ranger? Never heard of one.
And on the 8th day, God looked down on his planned paradise, and said "I need a caretaker."
So God made a farmer.

Mine would have to be an SUV, or one of those big-ass 4wd vans...
Diesel of course.
