I get seasick easily, so boats are probably not a good choice for me. I also hate to fly... All of my experience is on the ground--foraging and orienteering will have to keep me alive.

I need drugs to even walk inside the airport.
I get very sick when the boat stops. When we're moving I stay on the bow and in the wind and I'm ok, but normally get pretty soaked by the spray.

I guess that put me in the aquatic contingent.
I have never had motion sickness.
Last cruise I went on we hit rough seas overnight and at least 80 % of the people on board were sick.
I enjoyed it as it was super easy to get served food or alcohol.
My wife had on a patch and was still stuck in bed bitching. :Huge:

I think boats such as these would do rather nicely!

IF those with enough skill to build one were not all "eliminated" by savages.

Those boats reached america and were prety stabel.

Another boat we may see post apoc is the chines junk's wooden boats will in genrail see a rise. Though any body who can get a supper tanker/freighter will be prety munch set for live. Problem with those though is maintaince and training. Piracy will all so be rather common though I am luck since there are very few boats or ships. In the region that can out gun a 20mm.
