If it doesn't fit anywhere else put it here.

Well, as it sits in that picture:

-Rifle was $285 (On sale, normally $335)
-Red dot was $25
-Ladder rail covers were $10 for the set
-Foregrip came with a cheap $30 airsoft gun I got years ago, it's probably worth like $5 at best.

Keep in mind that this is a pretty high quality gun from a more than reputable manufacturer (G&P), and is made of nice aluminum rather than plastic or steel. You can get similar ones for a cheaper price but they usually use lower quality metal that uses a lot of nickel, usually called "pot metal". Or you can get ABS plastic guns for even cheaper than that, as well as some nice polymer ones that fluctuate in price. The thing about airsoft guns is a lot of the time you're really just paying for the quality of the externals, as the internals can easily be replaced and upgraded for much less than just buying a nicer gun to begin with.

G&P is a nice reputable brand they make some of the best Airsoft guns out there for decent prices compared to other manufacturers like KWA that just sell a name that you cant really do anything with because its mostly proprietary parts. A lot of the good metal guns can get expensive I'm getting a Real Sword AK this weekend from a friend for $200 these AK's are made from real AK bodies and generally are hard to get in the country and sell for much more. He just needs money and knows I likes da AK's.

I might have mentioned it already, but the Real Sword SVD is one of my dream guns. Damn this is still in the $650 range even for a used model, new with a scope is around $850 to $900 after the cost of importing it.

I'm not sure you couldn't buy a real one cheaper...

A real SVD? Nah, there's a handful of them total in America that go for around $10,000 if not more, and importing them is out of the question. Hell, even a Romanian PSL is still close to $2,000.

VEPR sells their SVDs for about $900. I've even seen them for sale in CA.

Real Sword is real popular among the milsim community because they are just as heavy as the real ones. I think the svd' are expensive because they are made from real svd bodies like the ak's I think. I like vepr'.

Still, VEPR isn't the same without modification, not that I've seen at least. Ultimately for different purposes too.

Don't know.
Other than having a few AKs and couple of Saiga 12s I pretty much ignore commie rifles.
Not that I am putting them down I just went in a different direction.
