First Choice of Realistic Hold

Postby apocalypsepal » Mon Nov 09, 2015 4:30 pm

Given the choice of one realistic place to survive, where would you go to avoid both zomz and humans?

Keep in mind that others might have the same ideas as you, which would drive them to head to those places as well.

As such, Costco, Wal-Mart, or any other big box store might not be the best option.

Can't wait to hear your opinions.

So we're talking urban/suburban spots other than your home?

I think I would look for something in a warehouse district.

Let's say yes.

Some people (myself included) have a hold in their home capable of sustaining itself for a long periods of time. Most people, however, do not.

Opting for a large, open area? Not afraid of hordes clumping?

Well, what are YOUR suggestions? Other than adding free advertising for your site in your signature area, that is. Are you only here looking for some sales opportunities?

Please explain if you would be so kind. :|

Nope
I am thinking in terms of a secure building in an area with little to no population
Few windows, an accessible roof and strong doors.

I guess that, as long as you can ensure that the exterior entrances are secure, the open area can be extremely useful. I always opted for a second-story situation, particularly one that has many smaller chambers. Figure, if one got breached, you could retreat to another.

Of course, that is only an issue if it gets breached at all. Urban existence, in general, should be avoided, if possible (in my opinion). Resources are limited and there are a lot of contenders.

Probably the inlaws place. Only access is in front and rear with 1 window and two doors that are accessible from outside. Don't know what would be worse though. The stench from the Zeds or the Russian food. The Zeds moaning or the mother-in-law yapping.....
