Hmm, haven't seen: 1, 2(just a tiny bit), 7, 8, 10, 11 and 13 as of yet. However, all of the others on your list can certainly be construed as part of or related to the zombie genre. Interesting list UnderDude, definitely some cool movies there!

Saw all apart from Venom !
Once more into the fray,
Into the last good fight I'll ever know,
Live and die on this day,
Live and die on this day.

1) Sucker Punch - Have not watched it.
2) The Cabin In The Woods - Not a zombie flick, even though it has zombies it it.
3) I Am Legend - Yes, even though they are not zombies.
4) Planet Terror - I can't remember it.
5) The Crazies - Almost a zombie movie, but no because they did not eat the living... Now i need to see if the infected on I am Legend ate them.
6) Doom - No, don't really think if it as a zombie flick.
7) Open Grave - Never heard of it.
8) Quarantine - Yes, I like the Spanish original "Rec." Had more of a supernatural cause of outbreak, demonic possession.
9) Ghosts Of Mars - I forgot about this flick, it had Ice Cube in it, right?
10) Re-Animator - Yes, I think of this one as a zombie flick.
11) Venom - A REAL zombie (Haitian) flick. Don't remember if he ate them though.
12) Phantasm - Midget reapers and shinny balls, not a zombie flick. Did they have zombies in it?
13) Tamara - Missed this one.
14) 28 Days/Weeks Later - Yes, I know they are infected... but they do bite and turn living into one of them. So for me that makes it a zombie flick.
15) Evil Dead - Has zombies, but it's focused more on the possession part.
Most of my comments should be read with your best "BROCK SAMSON" voice. While others should be read with your best "CLINT EASTWOOD" voice. A few, and I mean a very few should be read with your best "JOE PESCI" voice.

Ice Cube is in it.
Sucker Punch could have been better but I still liked it. Emily Browning is hot.
Planet Terror is a Tarantino flick. One half of his Grindhouse series. It involved infected people, not the living dead.
In Venom he killed people but didn't eat them.
The midgets in Phantasm were the dead brought back to life.
In Tamara girl gets killed, comes back for revenge.
In Doom those that were bitten or killed came back to life.
I Am Legend creatures didn't eat people, just infected or killed them.

Robert Rodriguez did Planet Terror I believe. However, he and Tarantino are buddies and have collaborated a lot on films- so, same difference I suppose. ;)

I always considered the 28 series to be 'close enough'. Weeks is actually one of my favorite movies. It was much better produced than Days, I think. While still a good movie, Days had a very distinct indie feel to it, and that on it's own has never really appealed to me.
