The Remaining is incredible. I just finished book 5. Guy needs to start writing full time so book 6 will come running around.

The Guardian Interviews by Michael Clary is awesome. Interesting style of storytelling as well. Takes place in the form of post-incident interviews with members of a group. Gets more supernatural-ey, but the main focus is on a zombie outbreak in El Paso, Texas. Definitely worth checking out if you find a copy at your local book store. I picked it up as a set all in one book, but there were three individual stories, so I'm not sure if they are sold seperately. In case they are, it's The Guardian, The Regulators and Broken, in that order.
