One second after, fuck yeah. I would add World War Z, as well. Maybe not realistic, but it has realistic scenarios and is a great read either way.
And on the 8th day, God looked down on his planned paradise, and said "I need a caretaker."
So God made a farmer.

World War Z would be in the other thread. This is for non-ZPAW PAW books.

Damnation Alley - Robert Zelazny

Eagleheart: The Adventures of Will Bucko(a trilogy) - C. T. Westcott
1 - Silver Wings And Leather Jackets
2 - Broadsides And Brass
3 - Blood And Bone

This is a post-blast America trilogy that is funny, freaky, and quite a ride. Unfortunately out of print, I wish I could get another set of them!

Death lands - Chrono spasm

I'm going to be honest. This is a bad book. Not well written, and pretty predictable. But I'll be damned if its not enjoyable anyway. If I could ever find other entries, it might become my new guilty pleasure series. There's like 150 entries or something.

There's a whole series by James Axler. You can find them on Amazon.com also. Just type in the author's name.

One of my favorite non-ZPAW books is Swan Song by Robert R. McCammon. It has a feeling similar to The Stand by Stephen King. If you like an easy read with plenty of action, I would recommend the Deathlands series by James Axler. Although the author died quite a few years ago, the series continues with ghost writers.

EDIT: looks like we overlapped on subject matter here.... :stagger:

Another fun series is Endworld by David Robbins. It is similar to Deathlands.
