Hope it isn't "Sharknado" material. If they get it right they might actually become a watchable channel once again. :|

SciFi Channel started going down hill when they started showing wrestling.
I could not believe they did that.

They collect nearly $7 million per year for that.

Only shows on that channel worth watching are Paranormal Witness and Scariest Places in America.

Haven't seen a worthwhile show on there since Nu Battlestar Galactica.

I really enjoyed the first season of "Defiance". Tried watching a couple episodes of S.2 and just can't seem to get into it...can't put my finger on why, I think it's because it has degenerated into another science fiction soap opera...
Why do they have to do that? IMHO, one of the hallmarks of a decent show is that each episode stands alone as quality entertainment. I hate that if you miss a few episodes, you're lost, and have no idea what's going on...
There are a few exceptions to this of course, but by-in-large, I feel that is the major flaw with most shows these days; every one of them tries to "suck you in".

SG1 was a good show.
So were the spin offs.
I wish something else that good would come along.
Fingers crossed for the new Zombie series.

SyFy has a history of making some good shows. It's their movies that suck goat balls. Hopefully they put the money and production values into this show that they did for others like SG-1 and Defiance.
