Unfortunately I don't get to watch it because of my job. Sat and Sun I work 11am to 11pm plus I don't feel like spending $50 a month for basic cable when the only 2 shows I would watch would be FTWD and TWD.

2 weeks since the last comment was posted to this thread...

With just the finally left to view next Sunday... I hope for something, that I know is not gonna happen.

Now, I know Kirkman did not want to explore the cause of the outbreak. And I know he said he was not interested in explaining how the government reacted to the outbreak.

But why does the writing team insist to script scenes that are not defined by the creator?

Why bring in the Military, if they do not want to explain how the gov. is addressing the situation.
And why hint at an outbreak of a new influenza strain, and/or the synthetic drug.

Cobalt - Really??? That is the Military's emergency response? Uh... okay, I guess. I guess the cover price of "suspension of disbelief" was not just for the zombies.
I shoulda read the fine print...

I do like how some of the scenes that are true and realistic; like in tonight episode, how he could not shoot the walker in the cafe after he read her nametag.
Naming her made her more human, and not just a living-dead thing. It's like killing an animal versus killing a pet.
Most of my comments should be read with your best "BROCK SAMSON" voice. While others should be read with your best "CLINT EASTWOOD" voice. A few, and I mean a very few should be read with your best "JOE PESCI" voice.

Well, now we know what happened in El Salvador...

the final episode this coming Sunday should prove VERY interesting- hopefully. Otherwise, it may or may not be back at some point next year. Most likely it will though.

That guy had a steady hand with a straight razor didn't he?
I don't like him as much as I did.
I still think the Dad is weak!
He needs to man up.

When they took the junkie I thought to myself, "yup piss them off and they send men with guns"

It's ok
They are building back story so I think it will improve a lot.
I think it has a real chance at being good.
It would have been better if I had been involved but figure the odds of them calling me to offer me a job as an adviser.

Perhaps I should.
They could do worse than me.
I have a nearly unique perspective.

Is anyone watching the new season? I am enjoying it so far--the last episode was really intense. It does not compare with The Walking Dead, but I think that is due to the characters more than the storyline. I liked the airplane theme and the story is taking place on the water right now which is a new twist. Reminds me of the book series I am reading.
